Why Percentage Splits Break Down at the Edges
Percentages are convenient and slightly dishonest. A "30% protein" target moves in grams every time your calorie intake moves — at 1,800 kcal it is 135 g, at 2,600 kcal it is 195 g. Your body did not change its protein requirement between those two days.
